God as my refuge...

Confession from Psalm 46:1 "God is my refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble."

God is my refuge! This was my life verse for many years. As I mention in the book, God changed my life verse to Psalm 23:2-3 because He wanted me to focus on how He was restoring my soul, rather than focusing on the trouble I was going through. But as I wrote this confession, I was impressed by the fact that God is my refuge and strength. He is all I need, always! I needed to remember that this is a promise I can stand on. God will always be my refuge. He will always strengthen me. No matter what I'm facing, He is there and I can rest in that truth.
